Currently Exploring

Rust in real codebases instead of tutorials: uutils/coreutils is my current classroom. Also how large open source projects actually run, which is the part no tutorial covers: reviews, CI, licensing.

Achievements

Documentation patch accepted into the Linux kernel (pt-BR translation). Contributor at uutils/coreutils, the Rust rewrite of GNU coreutils. Contributor at TimeConv, including a bug that had been open for four years.

About: Teacher and developer from Brazil, founder of Coisa de Dev, where I teach Linux, open source and DevSecOps in Portuguese.

I contribute to open source and write down what I learn doing it: a documentation patch accepted into the Linux kernel, two fixes merged into TimeConv, and an open PR against uutils/coreutils, the Rust rewrite of GNU coreutils. One article per contribution, from the bug to the merge.

Python and Elixir day to day, Rust for systems and CLI work, Linux everywhere.
