Over 18 years I've architected cloud-native platforms across agri-food, SaaS, leisure, and fitness — most recently a distributed, event-driven system on Azure handling 1M+ transactions a day, where I cut end-to-end latency by 90% using Azure Service Bus and Functions.
What I bring:
• Architecture — event-driven microservices, distributed systems, and solution design on Azure, with the ability to translate messy domain requirements into platforms that hold up under load.
• Engineering leadership — I've led teams of 10+ through platform rebuilds, agile transformations, and large-scale cloud migrations, mentoring senior and principal engineers (several promoted under me).
• DevSecOps — I embed CI/CD, OWASP-aligned security, and automated testing into the lifecycle, compressing release cycles from weeks to a day and cutting production incidents. Show less
