I've participated in projects ranging from industrial automation, radio frequency data transmission, fiber optic cabling, AS400 mainframe maintenance, data capture, intranet development, insurance systems, social security systems, mining, commerce, retail, home automation, food supply chains, etc. Much of this work cannot be reviewed or discussed due to NDAs lasting over 10 years. Now I'm trying to make some of it public, but these are my own projects—interesting ones, I'd say. Download my resume here me.onegarlos.com

About: I come from a long line of people who have absolutely nothing to do with technology! So I'm a sort of resilient settler. My first program was a game I made in 1986 on a TK90 with an incredible 4MHz Zilog Z80A processor, 48KB of RAM and 16KB of ROM, without a hard drive obviously, so every creation of days of work was either saved on magnetic tape or you lost everything. I think that made me value the resources of machines to this day. I have a rack of Lenovo and IBM servers that are currently my favorites, where I experiment daily with Kubernetes, Xen orchestration tools, and I enjoy working deep within the machine. I suppose I'm part DevOps, but more of a backend developer in .NET and Rust, and at heart a frontend enthusiast in Vue3 and TypeScript. I love NodeJS, and lately I've been writing technical articles that can help younger people climb the ladder quickly. Thanks for reading.
