I've been building software for 27 years, and the last few have been the most exciting of my career. My focus right now is Flutter and AI — specifically helping businesses build mobile and web applications that are genuinely smarter: apps that remember their users, see through a camera, and automate the repetitive work that used to take hours. Through my company Real World Applications, I work with small and mid-sized businesses to take their ideas from concept to launch. I handle the full stack — Flutter, Firebase, Laravel, Python, Gemini — and I stick around to make sure the thing actually gets used. Outside of client work, I organize GDG chapters across Central Florida including Tampa Bay and Ocala. Over the past year I've run a hands-on workshop series where 300+ developers built working AI-powered Flutter apps with Gemini — from multimodal vision to persistent AI memory.
