The canonical meaning root idea really clicked for me, tying meaning to time ordered references feels like a clean way to avoid drift, nice work by Canonical Funnel Economy, curious how this holds up when interpretations intentionally diverge.

@[Mehadi Hasan] Great question. The key point is that within CFE,
DID provides persistent agent identity
CID provides immutable, ordered memory
The Canonical Meaning Root defines an original, time-ordered reference point that interpretations can align to, diverge from, or evolve against.
When interpretations intentionally diverge, the system remains stable because divergence becomes observable, not ambiguous. Independent systems can compare how meaning evolved relative to the same canonical reference, rather than losing continuity entirely.

Show moreI’m building the Canonical Funnel Economy (CFE) — an open, distributed AI Trust Layer designed to give AI agents stable identity, verifiable memory, and consistent meaning through DID + IPFS + CID.
I work at the intersection of Agentic AI, decentralized identity, immutable storage, and real-world applications, connecting AI agent infrastructure to live businesses and developer workflows.
I write about:
AI Trust Layer & Agentic AI
DID/IPFS/CID fundamentals
Immutable memory for AI agents
Real-world integration between AI systems and business operations
My goal is to help developers build AI agents that are reliable, persistent, and semantically grounded — not just intelligent.
