Selective quadification makes a lot of sense honestly, nice point here, curious how you decide what stays tri based versus quad when assets get more hybrid over time

Yeah, that’s a good question. I’ve found it’s less about deciding “tris vs quads” upfront and more about whether a part actually benefits from being touched again.
Stuff that’s rigid, planar, or already clean usually stays fine as-is, even as the asset evolves. The areas that keep needing quadification are the ones that deform, subdivide, or slowly get messy from edits and booleans.
As things get more hybrid over time, selection kinda becomes the decision layer. You quadify what needs help now, without forcing a full rework.
