Hi all anime fans. Love those anime quotes and Linux ? Would you wanna see those motivating or reality-hitting quotes every time you open your terminal, then look no furthur than this script by yours truly

Script

How it Works

The script has a quotes.json file from which it gets the quotes. It reads the file and displays a quote randomly.

The earlier version used to take it from Yurippe, but it was slow, so I downloaded the whole thing and used a json file to display it instead.

Fun idea using a local json instead of hitting Yurippe was a nice call speedwise. In what ways could this be extended for other fandoms like games or movies?

@[Muzzamil Abbas] Thank you for the complement.
For it to be extended , we will have to find similar APIs for those. There might be one. You can either download the JSON or use the API itself if it's fast enough. And then you can cycle between each of the calls to get randomised output.
