Notes taking script

This script is a small note-taking application in itself where it lets you do the following

  1. Create a new note
  2. Open notes
  3. Preview notes
  4. Search for notes
  5. Delete notes

Dependencies

  1. gum or fzf
  2. glow or bat

The first time you run the script it'll ask you the name of the directory you wanna save your notes in.

Kinda like how you turned a tiny script into a whole mini workspace, nice touch Vaishnav. Makes me wonder how many note apps we’d ditch if more CLIs felt this smooth.

This is a really neat and practical CLI workflow!
I love how you combined simple tools like gum/fzf and glow/bat to create a clean, distraction-free note-taking system. The fact that it supports creation, preview, search, and deletion—while staying completely terminal-based—makes it perfect for developers who live inside the shell.
