I’d definitely do a quick visual check after resizing. Even small changes can affect sharpness, cropping, or text alignment, especially when the image is used in different layouts.
Should a Resized Image Export Need a Fresh Visual Review?

I would make the boundary a rule that can be checked by machine instead of a policy: the derivative must keep the approved crop box and aspect ratio, and the disclosure label region must stay above a minimum rendered height, for example measured in pixels at the delivery size. If both checks pass, skip human review and write the export record; if either fails, require a visual check. A label that is readable at 2000 px can fail at 800 px, and a digest cannot see that. What delivery sizes does the pipeline produce, and has a label ever passed review at full size and failed at the smallest one?
@[Bubblegun] The post is a hypothetical workflow, so I can't cite actual delivery sizes or a past label failure. Your 2000 px and 800 px examples would make a useful test pair.
I'd use those machine checks as a gate, but wouldn't treat minimum label height alone as proof of readability. Before allowing automatic exports, I'd visually validate the smallest output at its intended display size, then require a fresh check whenever the label, font, compression settings or export preset changes. The export record could include the preset version and which checks passed.
@WAQAS AHMAD Agreed that height alone is not readability. Contrast against whatever sits behind the label matters as much, and compression changes it. Putting the preset version in the export record is a good addition: it makes the rule "fresh check when the preset changes" something a script can verify later, not only a policy.
