Is Marketing Becoming the Most Important Skill for Developers?

Something I've been wondering about lately.

With AI making it easier and easier to build software, we're seeing more apps, tools, and SaaS products launched every single day. And a lot of them are technically solid.
But most of them go unnoticed.

So I started asking myself: if building is becoming accessible to almost everyone, what actually makes the difference between a product that gets traction and one that doesn't?
Is it still the quality of the code? The features? The design?
Or is it increasingly about how well you can market it, how you tell the story, reach the right audience, and make people choose your product over the others?

I'm also curious about the developer side of this. Do you think we need to develop marketing and distribution skills alongside our technical ones or is that a different role entirely?
And more broadly in 5 or 10 years, do you think the developers who thrive will be the most technically skilled, or the ones who know how to sell what they build?
