The internet sometimes makes it feel like certifications are magic shortcuts to jobs.
Pass the exam. Get the badge. Get hired.
But from my experience, reality feels more complicated than that.
I think certifications are most valuable when you treat them as a learning tool rather than a job guarantee.
That mindset shift helped me a lot.
I am not against certifications at all.
I just think many people place the entire weight of their career hopes on them, and that can lead to disappointment.
A certification can help open a door, but it usually doesn't walk you through it.
