We Built a Free, Fully Private Remote Control App for Windows. No Cloud, No Ads, No Compromise.

Most remote control apps make the same trade: convenience in exchange for your data passing through someone else's server.

We wanted to build something different. An app that gives you full control of your Windows computer from your Android device, without any of the mentioned privacy risks.

The result is RemotePC for Windows — a free, local network remote
control app with no ads, no data collection, and no cloud dependency
of any kind.

Why Local Network?

Cloud-based remote tools are useful, but they come with inherent trade offs: your input, your files, and your media commands all travel through an external server before reaching your own machine.

For a lot of use cases, especially at home or in a local office that round trip is completely unnecessary.

With RemotePC, your Android device and your Windows PC talk directly to each other over your local network. Your data never leaves it. There's no account to create, no server to trust, and nothing phoning home in the background.

What It Can Do

RemotePC covers the full range of remote control functionality you'd actually need day to day:

  • Trackpad & keyboard — Use your phone as a wireless trackpad and
    keyboard for your PC
  • Media control — Play, pause, skip, and adjust volume without touching
    your machine
  • Live statistics — Watch your computer's performance statistics. From
RAM and CPU usage, to temperatures RemotePC has it all
  • File transfer — Send files between your Android device and Windows PC
    over the local network
  • And more — designed to handle the everyday remote control tasks most
    users actually reach for

Completely Free. Actually Free.

There are no ads. There is no premium tier. There is no freemium gate hiding the useful features. RemotePC is free in the straightforward sense of the word.

Privacy by Architecture

RemotePC doesn't ask you to trust a privacy policy. The architecture itself is the guarantee — local network only means there's no external infrastructure that could collect, store, or transmit your data, because none exists. What happens on your network stays on your network.

Get It

RemotePC for Windows is available on the Google Play Store and UptoDown for Android.

Download it by visiting our web page here.

If you're looking for a lightweight, private, and genuinely free way to control your Windows PC from your phone — give it a try.

RemotePC by Breadworks.
Free and private — forever.
