Hey everyone!

Thought we’d kick things off with some introductions.

What’s your experience been like working with Ruby or Rails so far? Are you deep in a legacy app, or running shiny Rails 8 with all the trimmings?

I’ll start: I’ve been working with Ruby (on Rails) for over 10 years now — from scrappy greenfield startup apps to large-scale corporate systems. I’m curious to hear what versions (and horror stories!) you’ve got to share.

And if you’ve built something cool, show it off — we’d love to see it!

haven’t really gotten into Ruby on Rails yet still in the reading phase . But from what I’ve seen so far, I really like how clean and readable it is. Haven’t touched any legacy code yet (thank God ), but I’m loving seeing what others are building with Rails 8. Can’t wait to learn more from you
