Welcome to the Ruby & Rails Community

Leader posted 1 min read

Hey everyone. Welcome to our brand-new Ruby & Rails group! This is a space for anyone working with Ruby — whether you’re wrangling ActiveRecord callbacks, crafting APIs, or pushing the edges of what Rails can do in 2025.

The goal here is simple: share articles, swap stories, and learn from each other. If you’ve got a question, an aha-moment, or just something cool you built, drop it in — chances are someone else will benefit (or at least laugh in sympathy).

We want a community where all Rubyists feel at home — from those hacking together their first Sinatra app to folks scaling Rails to handle thousands of requests per second. The only rule: be helpful, be respectful, and bring your curiosity.

So grab your favourite editor (yes, even if it’s VS Code — we’ll only judge you quietly ) and let’s start building a Ruby community worth being part of. Welcome aboard!

If you read this far, tweet to the author to show them you care. Tweet a Thanks

Nice kickoff post — this feels like a fun space already. Rails has a reputation for powering both small hacks and huge systems, so it’ll be cool to see the variety of stuff people share here.
