What do you think is the biggest problem in modern software development?

For me, it isn't a lack of frameworks or programming languages.

It's the growing pressure to deliver software faster while still maintaining quality, security, and long-term maintainability.

AI has made developers more productive, but it has also raised expectations. Teams are shipping code at record speed, yet many projects still struggle with technical debt, unclear requirements, poor documentation, and systems that become difficult to maintain.

Sometimes the challenge isn't writing code—it's understanding the problem, making the right architectural decisions, and building software that will still be reliable years from now.

Technology keeps evolving, but good engineering practices remain just as important.

What do you think is the biggest challenge facing developers today?

AI-generated code quality?
Technical debt?
Constantly changing requirements?
Security?
Developer burnout?
Something else?

I'd love to hear your perspective.
