What it checks
The extension runs 43 checks across six categories:
Structured data -- JSON-LD presence, Schema.org types (Article, FAQPage, BreadcrumbList, Organization), Open Graph tags, Twitter Card markup.
Crawlability -- robots.txt rules, meta-robots directives, X-Robots-Tag headers, canonical URL signals, noindex detection.
Semantic HTML -- heading hierarchy (H1 through H3), landmark elements (main, nav, article, aside), image alt text coverage.
Metadata -- title length and uniqueness signals, meta description presence and length, language declaration, viewport meta.
Performance signals -- estimated page weight, render-blocking resource count, lazy-loading usage.
Citation signals -- author markup (Person schema, byline elements), FAQ schema (FAQPage + Question/Answer pairs), breadcrumb structure.
How it works
The extension runs all checks locally in your browser using the live DOM. No data leaves your machine. Results are cached per URL, so revisiting a page is instant.
The same 43-check logic runs the web tool at automatelab.tech, so results are consistent whether you use the extension or the site.
