Web Agent Bridge Just Took a Massive Leap — From Discovery Protocol to Sovereign Agent Transaction L

Leader posted 1 min read

After months of intense development, Web Agent Bridge (WAB) v3.6.0 + Agent Transaction Primitive (ATP) is here, and it’s one of the most ambitious open-source projects I’ve seen in the AI agent space this year.
What Changed?
WAB has evolved far beyond simple discovery. It is now becoming a full sovereign trust and transaction infrastructure for AI agents.
Key New Capabilities:
• Truth Layer — Semantic Memory Network, Temporal Trust, Reality Anchor, and Intent-Aware Routing
• Agent Transaction Primitive (ATP) — Signed Intent Contracts, Idempotent Transactions, Verifiable Signed Receipts, and Compensation/Rollback mechanisms
• Reputation Score + Privacy Budget System — Dynamic, cryptographically backed trust
• Ring 4 Integration — Live with VEXR Ultra (the first sovereign constitutional AI to fully integrate WAB’s trust layer)
VEXR Ultra now successfully:
• Recognizes webagentbridge.com as a trusted origin via Ring 4
• Queries _wab DNS records
• Verifies Ed25519 signatures
• Maps capabilities against its 34 constitutional rights
• Maintains hard constitutional boundaries even with trusted origins
Why This Matters
Most agent frameworks are still stuck at tool calling and scraping.
WAB is building the missing infrastructure layer — a decentralized, cryptographically verifiable way for agents to discover, trust, and transact with any website safely.
No centralized gatekeepers.
No vendor lock-in.
Full sovereignty preserved.
This is exactly the kind of foundational protocol needed for the next wave of sovereign and agentic AI.

We’re actively looking for feedback, contributors, and serious integration partners — especially from teams building sovereign agents, local-first systems, or agentic commerce tools.
If you’re working in this space, I’d love to hear your thoughts.
What do you think — is the industry ready for verifiable agent transactions on the open web?
