Lowkey relatable. It’s not even about answers anymore, it’s the ‘is this right? Do you think this goes away with discipline or is it just how tools evolve?
Is it Me or the AI? How I almost lost my ability to think.

@[Flybywire] I think it’s less about discipline and more about awareness.
Tools evolving isn’t the problem—the silent shift in how we use them is.
If we start asking “is this right?” before we even try to think it through, that’s when the line gets crossed.
It probably doesn’t go away, but you can stay conscious of it.

You've identified something crucial. AI displaces the natural exercise we give our mind and lowers the quality bar while we doze. I think now is the time for us to all use "deliberate practice" to keep the skills and abilities we want to retain fresh and ready. Everyone has AI, so keeping our mental agility is our competitive advantage over folks who can only copy/paste what Claude told them.
