Feels more like AI as a tool than replacement. Have you seen it actually handle real infra decisions end to end?

AI is more of a tool than a replacement in my view. I have not really seen it handle real infrastructure decisions end-to-end yet. What I have seen is that it helps speed up parts of the work. For example, I have used it to build parts of my portfolio and automate some tasks, but the architecture decisions and overall direction still come from the engineer.

My opinion is simple:

AI can speed up the process.

But it still cannot replace experience, judgment, and learning from mistakes.

But I think the value comes from knowing what questions to ask, not just having access to the answers.
