Progress Update: Building My First SaaS – LeadIt

Two days ago I shared the architecture flow diagram of my SaaS project LeadIt. Over the last couple of days, I started turning that architecture into real working modules.

Here’s what I built:

Company Search API connected with Supabase (with filters + pagination)
Company Analyze Engine that scans company websites using Playwright
Lead Scoring System that detects opportunity signals
AI Outreach Generator using Groq (Llama-3.3-70B) to generate personalized cold emails

The system now goes from:

Company discovery → Website analysis → Lead scoring → AI-generated outreach

Also ran into a small but interesting bug during setup — Tailwind CSS v4 wasn’t compatible with my Next.js 14 setup, so downgrading to Tailwind v3 fixed the build errors.

Still early days, but the core intelligence layer of LeadIt is starting to come together.

Would love to hear feedback from other builders
