The do no harm angle really clicked for me, especially in finance where one bad hallucination hurts. Cool direction, curious how Pulitzer handles conflicting sources in real time.
We stopped reading the news. We built an AI to read it for us. (Meet Pulitzer v2)

Great question — and you’re exactly right about the risk profile in finance.
When Pulitzer encounters conflicting sources, it doesn’t try to “resolve” them creatively. Instead, it follows a conservative, rules-based approach:
- Source weighting: Primary filings and price data always outrank commentary or secondary news.
- Conflict detection: If sources disagree beyond a defined threshold, Pulitzer flags the discrepancy instead of synthesizing a single conclusion.
- Explicit uncertainty: In those cases, the output shifts from “insight” to “context” — e.g. “sources are mixed today due to X and Y” — rather than asserting a narrative.
- No real-time guessing: If the data hasn’t settled, it waits. Silence is preferable to a confident hallucination.
The guiding principle is that in finance, being incomplete is safer than being wrong.
Pulitzer is designed to surface signal and uncertainty, not to smooth over it.
Really appreciate you calling this out — it’s one of the core design constraints we care most about.
