Because speed pushes most creators into two traps:
- generic writing
- AI sounding writing
So I built an AI workflow that protects my voice like a brand asset, and still lets me publish consistently.
My AI Workflow for Shipping Articles, Fast, Without Losing Voice
Most people use AI like this:
“Write an article about X.”
That produces content.
But it rarely produces my content.
So I stopped using AI as a writer.
I started using AI as a system that supports my thinking.
The Principle I Follow
AI can write.
But my voice must lead.
My job is:
- the point of view
- the framing
- the standard of clarity
- the examples
- the final decisions
AI’s job is:
- speed
- structure
- options
- refinement
- consistency checks
That separation keeps my work human.
Step 0: I Start With a “Voice Context Pack” (Reusable)
I keep a short context pack that I paste at the start of every writing session.
My Voice Context Pack
- I write like: confident, direct, practical, human
- Audience: builders, developers, AI practitioners
- Structure: Hook → Insight → Example → Framework → Challenge question
- Non-negotiables:
no fluff
no hype
no generic motivational lines
one clear takeaway
at least one real example
- Language: simple, high-signal sentences
This pack is the difference between “AI wrote this” and “I wrote this.”
Step 1: Angle Selection (I don’t start with drafting)
I never ask AI to write first.
I ask it to generate angles.
Prompt
“Give me 7 strong angles for an article on [topic]. Each angle must be
specific, slightly contrarian, and useful for developers. For each,
include a one-sentence thesis and who it’s for.”
Then I pick the one that feels most me.
Step 2: Outline in My Style (before any paragraphs)
Prompt
“Create an outline using: Hook → Insight → Example → Framework →
Challenge Question. Keep it tight and logical. No generic sections.”
Now I have structure, not noise.
Step 3: I Add My “Voice Anchors” (the secret)
Before drafting, I inject 3–5 “voice anchors”—sentences that only I would write.
Examples:
- “Prompt engineering isn’t dead. But it’s not enough anymore.”
- “Production doesn’t reward convincing. It rewards correct.”
- “AI doesn’t replace developers. It exposes weak systems.”
These anchors act like pillars.
They pull the whole article into my voice.

“Use these exact voice anchors as fixed lines inside the draft. Build
the article around them without changing them.”
This is how the writing stays mine.
Step 4: Draft Fast (but with controlled constraints)
Prompt
“Draft the article using the outline and my voice context pack. Keep
paragraphs short. Add one real example and one reusable framework.
Avoid buzzwords and filler.”
I get a draft that’s close to publishable.
Step 5: “De-AI” Pass (Remove the smell)
This is mandatory.
Prompt
“Rewrite this draft to feel more human and more like me. Remove any
generic phrases, soften robotic rhythm, and replace vague lines with
concrete statements. Keep meaning intact.”
This step alone changes everything.
Step 6: Clarity + Value Pass (Make it sharper)
Prompt
“Tighten for clarity and usefulness:
reduce wordiness by 15–25%
make the core takeaway unmistakable
add 3 practical bullet points people can apply today
ensure the example is realistic”
Now it reads like authority, not content.
Step 7: Originality Audit (Protect reputation)
I don’t want to sound like every other AI article.
Prompt
“Audit for originality. Identify lines that sound common or recycled.
Suggest 5 ways to make this more specific, opinionated, and grounded.”
I apply the best suggestions.
Step 8: Publish Pack (So one article becomes multiple assets)
Once the article is ready, I ask for:

“Create a publish pack:
5 headline options,
3 short summaries,
1 strong discussion question,
3 comment replies to likely responses.”
This turns one post into a full engagement engine.
My Full Workflow in One Line
Context Pack → Angles → Outline → Voice Anchors → Draft → De-AI Pass →
Clarity Pass → Originality Audit → Publish Pack
That’s how I ship fast without losing voice.
The Biggest Lesson
If my voice is unclear, AI will replace it with generic language.
So my job is to be clear about:
- what I believe
- what I stand for
- how I speak
- what I reject
Then AI becomes a multiplier, not a mimic.
