128K exports is wild, that opens up so many possibilities for detailed worldbuilding. Nice update by Methodox, curious how heavy the files get at that scale.

A 128K map is about 40,075,017 m / 131,072 px ≈ 305.7 m/px on Earth, in the horizontal (longitude) direction of a Mercator projection, where the horizontal (width) axis maps longitude linearly and corresponds to the Earth’s equatorial circumference.
An example map I have is about 4.83 GB in PNG. To be usable as a basemap, one need to convert it to a geotiff first, in which case it's 32.0 GB.
A 32K map (PNG) would be 355MB.
