My Week So Far

My Week So Far

This week is running on maximum bandwidth.

Balancing deep academic theory with actual building is always a test of endurance.
And this week tested every bit of it.

Between heavy lecture halls, lab sessions, and prep, school demanded a lot from me:

Compiler Construction:
Breaking down how high-level syntax gets parsed, analyzed, and converted into machine instructions.
Understanding what actually happens under the hood before a single binary executes changes how you write every line of code.

Java Programming:
Revisiting strict OOP paradigms, memory models, and standard design patterns.
A sharp, structured contrast to the dynamic nature of JavaScript.

Computer Research Methodology:
Learning how to formulate rigorous problem statements, structure technical literature, and validate engineering findings.
Because good engineering isn’t just writing code, it’s proving why the solution matters.

And to add to an already eventful week:
I had an interview with Coder Legion. I will talk on my experience in a later post.

Stepping out of the academic theory to talk about real-world building, side projects, and the developer journey was an incredible highlight.

It is easy to view schoolwork and practical building as two opposing forces.
One theoretical, one hands-on.

But when you connect compiler theory and structured paradigms directly to how you architect web systems, everything starts feeding into the same mental framework.

Tired, but grateful for the growth.

Adiós.
