What it does well: card entry goes straight to a PCI-compliant vault; eligible cards get scoped Visa Intelligent Commerce / Mastercard Agent Pay credentials (spend limits, expiry); and each checkout path is chosen by availability, reliability and cost — embedded checkout, Universal Commerce Protocol, or browser automation.
What it does not do: score whether the purchase itself should fire. A spend limit is a ceiling, not a judgment.
We tested the gap live on October 12, 2026 against a public decision gate: a $240 unverified-merchant buy scored 0.4121 (escalate/block+log) and a scoped, user-approved $42 reorder scored 0.4654 (also escalate) — a blunt gate blocks both, which is why the decider has to be calibrated, not just present.
