Hi everyone, and welcome!

Today I want to give you a first look at one of the systems I’ve been working on for my game: the inventory system.

The game is still very early in development, so everything you’re about to see is a work in progress and will continue to change as the project grows.

For this showcase, I’ll walk you through how the inventory currently works, from picking up and storing items to selecting them, viewing their information, and interacting with them.

I’ll also show you some of the systems connected to the inventory, including consumable items and player stats.

There’s still plenty I want to improve and expand, especially when it comes to the visuals and overall presentation, but the core functionality is already taking shape.

So, with that said, let’s jump into the game and take a look at the inventory system.
