Drift is the silent accumulation of errors and omissions in AI-generated code, even when it appears to work. It's the gap between the codebase you have and the one you meant to ship.
DriftDetector finds it. It's free and scans your code in seconds to find drift you didn't know AI unintentionally inserted into your codebase.
Point it at any GitHub repo, public or private, and it scores every commit in the history across nine production-readiness dimensions: design consistency, accessibility, maintainability, reliability, user experience, AI code governance, architecture, testability, and security in less than a minute (usually).
HERE'S WHAT THE ON-SCREEN REPORT WILL GIVE YOU:
• Production Drift Ratio — a single 0–1 score that weights drift frequency by remediation time
• Drift over time — every commit scored, graphed from first commit to today
• Zoom into any period to see exactly when and where the gap opened
• Jump straight from a data point to the commit or file on GitHub
• Accumulated debt, velocity drag, and risk, modeled for your team size
• Contributors ranked per file and per line by drift impact
You can also download a full report with line-by-line of what has drifted and the size of the impact on your code.
YOUR CODE STAYS PRIVATE
Repository code goes from GitHub directly to the scanner without passing through the browser, streams into temporary memory, and is never written to a persistent store. Click "What leaves my machine?" in the app for the full detail.
Try out DriftDetector and let us know what you think. We're eager to learn what you found and what you thought of it.
REWEAVER — NOW IN BETA
Drift Detector tells you where the drift is. the full Reweaver platform will help you close it, with tools that live inside Figma, VS Code / Cursor, and GitHub, so the score stays down as you code. A scan is a snapshot — drift isn't.
We're actively recruiting beta testers to give us feedback. Sign up here: https://www.reweaver.ai/join-the-beta
