EstateAI Photo Library: Organize and Select Photos Before AI Editing
EstateAI Step by Step · Module 02: Properties · Guide 02.4
Previous guide: Part 02.3 — AI Analysis and Room Grouping
You have uploaded the shoot and reviewed how the rooms are grouped.
Now you need to choose the photographs for the next job.
That sounds straightforward—until one property contains a vacant room, a furnished bedroom, an exterior and several alternate angles that should remain untouched.
Sending everything through the same treatment would ignore the actual brief.
The useful next step is to separate what belongs in the property library from what belongs in the current editing selection.
Guide scope: This article combines supplied interface screenshots with EstateAI’s official documentation. The open Photos tab and its selection controls were not supplied or tested. The screenshots show surrounding navigation and file context; the selection checklist is a recommended workflow, not a recorded batch-processing test.
Quick answer
Use the property library as your source collection, then choose only the images needed for the current operation.
Keep four things distinct:
Source photo → selected input → generated version → reviewed delivery choice
These are working concepts for this guide, not names of four verified EstateAI status buttons.
A photograph can be useful to retain as a reference without being included in the next processing job.
1. Find the property first, then locate Photos
The supplied Properties screenshot includes a card with 39 photos, 1 AI outputs and an Open Workspace button.

Figure 1. A direct crop of the supplied property card. The photo count and output count describe different things.
Inside the separate workspace screenshot, the navigation includes Photos, AI Services, Processing, Gallery and Downloads.

Figure 2. Photos is visible in the property navigation, but Downloads is the selected tab. This is not a screenshot of the photo-library grid.
Use the intended property record before choosing images. The Properties page is the relevant app entry point; its public route required sign-in during verification.
The exact first view after opening Photos is not shown here. Avoid treating a navigation label as evidence of thumbnail menus or selection behavior inside the unopened tab.
2. Understand the jobs of Photos, Gallery and Downloads
EstateAI’s product overview describes three related areas with different responsibilities:
| Area | Documented role |
| Photo library | Add and organise source images, arrange room groups, reorder images and select batches. |
| Gallery and versions | Compare originals with generated alternatives and choose among results. |
| Downloads | Export individual files, selected versions or property packages. |
This is the published product description, not a test of every control.
The distinction gives you a useful working rule: choosing the source, reviewing the result and exporting the file are separate decisions.
Define what you mean by “original”
For this guide, a source photo means the image used as input to the workflow.
That input might already be a corrected export from another application. Do not describe it as an untouched camera original unless its history supports that description.
Likewise, an attractive generated version should not silently become the assumed source for every later job. Identify which version the next operation will actually receive.
3. Keep the library complete without treating every file as a job
EstateAI’s FAQ describes reusing property images across supported services rather than uploading the same files for each operation.
That does not mean every retained photograph needs every service.
Imagine two views of a living room. The client wants one staged hero image; the other view is useful for checking the window arrangement.
Our recommendation is to retain the reference view while leaving it out of the staging selection unless the brief also requests an edit to that view.
“Keep in the library” and “process now” are different choices.
Check additions against the existing set
The official workflow guide says additional upload selections append to the existing selection rather than replacing it.
The supplied setup screenshot shows an example upload list:

Figure 3. This upload panel comes from the earlier setup capture—not the open Photos tab or a newly tested upload. Filename redactions were applied for publication.
After adding files in your own session, compare the intended addition with the files now shown. Do not assume automatic duplicate removal or a particular supported file limit from this example.
Before deleting a suspected duplicate, establish whether it is actually redundant. Two similar-looking views may show different details.
4. Build the selection around one clear request
A room group describes a relationship between photographs. A processing selection should answer a specific editing request.

These are not necessarily the same set.
EstateAI’s Image Enhancement page describes processing selected photographs from an organised property shoot. The Virtual Staging page describes working with selected vacant-room views. Virtual Declutter has a different purpose: removing temporary distractions rather than redesigning the room.
A hypothetical selection example
Suppose the brief requests staging for one living-room angle and photographic correction for a bedroom.
| Library item | Intended role in this example | Include in the living-room staging job? |
| Vacant living room, primary angle | Requested furnishing visualisation | Yes, after checking the source and brief. |
| Same living room, reverse angle | Reference for checking fixed features | No, unless another staged view is requested. |
| Furnished bedroom | Separate enhancement request | No—use a separate treatment decision. |
| Exterior photograph | Retained property context | No—outside this staging request. |
This is a planning example, not an observed EstateAI job.
A shared property does not imply a shared edit. Review the selected thumbnails, not just the total.
Also, retaining a reference angle does not prove the generator will use that angle automatically. It is available to support your review; model input behavior would need separate verification.
Grouping is not a consistency guarantee
Correctly grouping two views does not, by itself, demonstrate that separate generations will use identical furniture.
If the brief needs matching staged angles, verify the actual service capabilities and compare the outputs. Room organisation and cross-image generation consistency are different questions.
5. Reordering is organisation—not automatic publishing
The product overview lists image reordering as a photo-library capability.
The available screenshots do not establish whether that uses dragging, a menu or another control. They also do not establish whether a library arrangement becomes the order of a download package, shared gallery or external listing.
Our recommendation is to arrange the working collection so that your team can follow it, then check the separate delivery selection when exporting.
For example, keeping related room views together may make internal review easier. That is a suggested organisation method, not a tested EstateAI sorting rule.
Do not turn “I moved this image first” into “the client will definitely see this image first” without checking the destination.
6. Run a selection check before processing
Here is a proposed check to perform before confirming any multi-image operation:
- Property: Are these images attached to the intended property and workspace?
- Input: Is each selected image the intended source or version?
- Scope: Does each selected image belong in this specific request?
- Treatment: Does the chosen service match the requested change?
- Estimate: Have you inspected the current configuration and displayed cost?
- Review plan: Do you have the source material needed to check the result?
EstateAI’s FAQ states that configured cost depends on factors including the selected service, image count and output count, and that an estimate is shown before processing.
Do not calculate a batch cost from a source-photo counter. Library size and job configuration are different inputs.
When the selection is uncertain
Pause before submitting the job. Inspect what is actually selected, especially after moving between rooms or workflows.
This is a precaution, not a claim that a particular selection persists or resets between EstateAI screens. That behavior has not been demonstrated in the supplied material.
7. Keep source retention separate from the delivered package
The supplied Downloads screenshot lists Original Property Photos — 39 files separately from Published Images — 1 file.

Figure 4. These are package labels and counts visible in the supplied Downloads screen. No export was executed for this guide.
This illustrates why “there are 39 files in the property” is not a complete delivery instruction.
Choose what the recipient actually needs. Our recommendation is to review the intended originals, derivatives and versions before export, then inspect the exported package.
The label Published Images does not, on its own, demonstrate that an image was posted to an external listing site or approved by a client.
Do not assume unlimited retention
EstateAI’s FAQ says storage includes originals and generated versions. It also describes retention behavior if an account remains above its active allowance after a configured grace period.
For important source assets, our recommendation is to maintain an independent backup and check the applicable account settings. A retained library is useful; it should not be mistaken for a promise of unlimited permanent storage.
8. Describe a library problem precisely
If something is missing, repeated or unexpectedly selected, first record the actual observation.
For example:
Hypothetical support description: In this property’s Photos area, I expected three additional bedroom images alongside the existing set. Only two are visible. I have attached the screen and the message it displays.
Report the actual event in your own account; this example is not a record of an observed failure.
The EstateAI Help Centre asks for the affected record, page and action, expected versus actual behavior, exact error message and browser/device information.
Share account information through the official support channel. Keep passwords, payment details and secret keys out of the request.
How the three brands relate to this guide
EstateAI by Pixel Perfects Solutions is the application covered in this series. This lesson focuses on preparing its property-photo inputs, not testing generated-image quality.
For source images needing professional correction, Pixel Perfects Solutions offers Image Enhancement, including listed work such as white balancing, sharpening and perspective correction. This is a separate service reference, not a demonstrated order placed from the Photos tab.
Dotera describes building the reusable property library and connected image-version system in its EstateAI development case study.
These are first-party references, not independent performance evaluations.
Frequently Asked Questions
1. Where is the photo library in EstateAI?
The supplied property workspace navigation includes a Photos tab. It is the entry point relevant to this guide. The screenshot has Downloads selected, so the open photo-library grid and its controls are not demonstrated.
2. Do I need to upload the same photograph for every AI service?
EstateAI’s official FAQ describes reusing existing property sources for supported workflows. Confirm the intended property and input version before starting another operation rather than uploading a disconnected copy by default.
3. Should every photograph in a room group receive the same treatment?
Not automatically. A group can contain reference angles and requested deliverables. Our recommendation is to select according to the editing brief, not merely because the photographs share a room assignment.
4. Will room grouping keep generated furniture identical across angles?
Grouping alone does not establish that capability. Verify the service’s actual input options and compare its results before promising a consistent multi-angle furnishing arrangement.
5. Does changing the photo-library order change the client gallery?
The available evidence does not establish that relationship. Treat working order, export selection and client-facing order as separate checks until the actual workflow demonstrates otherwise.
6. Can I delete originals once I have generated results?
This guide has not tested deletion, dependent versions or recovery behavior. Do not infer that removing a source is harmless. Retain an independent copy of important inputs and clarify the applicable controls and storage policy before deletion.
Final takeaway
The next useful decision after analysis is not “process everything.”
It is choosing the right input for the right request.
Keep the source collection understandable. Separate reference photographs from current deliverables. Identify the selected version, inspect the treatment and estimate, and preserve the context needed to review the output.
Organise the property once. Make each editing selection deliberately.
Next planned guide: Property AI Services—choosing a treatment and reviewing its available settings and estimate. Exact in-app instructions will depend on the current service-selection screenshots.
Which selection mistake would you most want to prevent: the wrong property, the wrong angle or the wrong input version?
