MyZubster is an open-source ecosystem that connects a circular marketplace, local communities, educational support, underground culture, visual storytelling and an experimental social metaverse.
The project is based on a cyclical model:

Instead of building another isolated marketplace or virtual world, MyZubster connects these activities through shared navigation, account-linked characters and measurable user journeys.

The Marketplace is the operational discovery layer of the ecosystem. It organizes products, services, skills and community activities into accessible categories and subcategories.

  Entering the MyZubster Metaverse
  The MyZubster Metaverse is the visual and social navigation layer of the ecosystem.
  Its current environment, Neon Plaza, allows visitors to:
• enter as guests or authenticated users;
• use account-linked characters;
• move around a shared environment;
• see other active visitors;
• communicate through chat and emotes;
• discover nearby participants;

  Account-Linked Characters
  A visitor can explore without creating a verified identity claim.
  Authenticated users can use persistent account-linked characters. The server determines which character belongs to the authenticated account instead of trusting a name supplied by the browser.
  The current system includes:
• canonical server-side character profiles;
• account-linked character ownership;
• authenticated profile retrieval;
• server-backed mission progress;
• visited-zone persistence;
• live player presence;
• session recovery;
• expired-JWT handling;
• protected character-progress updates.
  A display name is not considered legal identity evidence. The MYZ VERIFIED label indicates that the character is linked to a MyZubster account, not that a person’s legal identity, professional skills or qualifications have been certified.
  Mission Progress
  Visitors receive an initial mission: move through Neon Plaza and reach one of its portals.
  For guests, progress remains local to the browser. For authenticated characters, visited zones can be stored on the account-linked server profile.
  The server accepts only known landmark identifiers. It derives character ownership from the verified authentication token and does not trust a character name submitted by the client.

  Experimental Virtual Rooms
  MyZubster is beginning to connect Neon Plaza with persistent virtual rooms.
  The discovery system applies access rules on the server:
• guests can discover public rooms;
• authenticated users can also discover account-only rooms;
• private rooms remain hidden;
• drafts and archived rooms are excluded;
• only published, scheduled or live spaces are discoverable.
  These rooms are still experimental. A dedicated room experience will be introduced only after navigation, access control, moderation and lifecycle handling are ready.
