MyLbox provides a functional and flexible Unix-like system, while keeping the resource requirements extremely low.
The system is built around BusyBox and etcsh, using these as the foundation for the userland. Rather than assembling a conventional GNU environment containing separate implementations of dozens of standard utilities, the distribution takes advantage of BusyBox's multi-call architecture. BusyBox combines many common Unix utilities into a single executable, and is specifically designed for systems where storage, memory, and processing resources are limited. It's also highly configurable, allowing unnecessary functionality to be excluded from the final system.
The result is a remarkably small Linux environment. In its current form, the system is running comfortably with 128 Mbytes of RAM.
