We just shipped something I've wanted for a while.

The WAB VS Code extension is now live on the Marketplace — and on Open VSX for Cursor/VSCodium users.

The problem it solves:

Every developer building AI agents today writes the same boilerplate: custom DOM selectors, hardcoded endpoints, one-off browser automation scripts that break the moment a site changes its UI.

WAB standardizes this. Instead of scraping, sites declare what agents are allowed to DO via window.AICommands. The agent discovers capabilities, executes within boundaries, and the whole thing is cryptographically signed with Ed25519 + DNSSEC.

The VS Code extension makes this feel native:

→ Right-click any

The framing that keeps resonating:
robots.txt told crawlers what NOT to index.
WAB tells AI agents what they CAN execute.

Open source. MIT.

↓ Install in one command:
code --install-extension webagentbridge.wab

Or search "WAB" in the VS Code Extensions panel.
