Stop Rebuilding the Same Spring Boot Setup Every Time

Leader posted 1 min read

If you’ve built more than one Java backend, you’ve probably done this:

  • setup auth again
  • configure roles and permissions
  • handle multi-tenancy
  • wire up basic APIs
  • fix the same production issues later

And suddenly a week is gone.

I’m currently working on BuildBaseKit, focused on solving exactly this.

The idea is simple:

  • give developers a production-ready Spring Boot starting point
  • not just demos, but something you can actually build on

Right now I’m validating it with real use cases like:

  • file servers
  • Discord bots
  • internal tools

Curious to hear from others here:

What’s the one thing you always end up rebuilding in every backend?
