No-Code in 2026: Still Worth Talking About?
Interesting line of thought! My biggest problem with NoCode solutions is that code is never the problem and learning how a NoCode tool works is still a learning curve (with a less generalizable skill at the end). As we've seen from decades of NoCode and low code tools, design choices still matter. Not everything needs to be production ready and scalable, so NoCode satisfies a prototyping space.
@[Steve Fenton] Code usually isn’t the bottleneck. Decision-making is. No-code doesn’t remove the need for good product thinking — it just shifts where mistakes show up.
The goal isn’t to force structure for the sake of it. It’s to have just enough real structure to make things predictable, testable, and scalable — without slowing the team down.
