Built on Aptos: Bringing RWAs On-Chain

Hey builders,

I’ve spent the last few weeks diving deep into the Aptos ecosystem, specifically looking at how we can bridge real-world assets (RWAs) with the speed and safety of the Move language.

I’m excited to share that I’ve just open-sourced my latest project: [Project Name].

The Why

Most RWA implementations are bogged down by high gas or rigid smart contract architecture. I wanted to build something that leverages Aptos’ Block-STM (parallel execution) to handle high-frequency asset updates without breaking the bank or the network.

Technical Highlights

  • Move-Powered Security: Utilized resource accounts and signer capabilities to ensure asset ownership is immutable and verifiable.

  • Fractionalization Engine: Built a module that allows for the seamless splitting of physical asset NFTs into tradable fungible tokens.

  • Decentralized Oracles: Integrated price feeds to ensure on-chain valuations reflect real-world market data in real-time.

Why Open Source?

The "Legion" ethos is all about building together. I’m open-sourcing the entire repository—from the Move modules to the frontend SDK—because RWA infrastructure shouldn't be a black box.

Whether you want to fork it for a specific niche (real estate, fine art, commodities) or just want to see how I handled the storage logic on Aptos, it’s all there.

Note: This works only with Petra Wallet and is currently deployed on Testnet. Looking to move to Mainnet with the help of contributors.
